What to know
- [Voiceover] You don't need to know any other 2D or 3D software to do this course. You also don't need to be an architect. But I do expect you to know the basic elements of a building, like walls and doors. We have divided this course into two stage. In the first stage, we will learn some basic tools, such as walls, doors, windows, roofs, and set up your layouts to be published in the most common formats, such as PDF and DWG, as if we were doing a submission for a concept stage or a planning permission. In the second stage, we will get much more detailed with our project, as if we were doing a technical design or a construction documentation, where we would dig deeper into those basic tools, learn more advanced ones, extract some 3D details, and some schedules.
