Using the Stair tool

- [Instructor] Okay, so I have built a couple of staircases here. I have one central one that goes from basement to ground floor, an external ones that goes also from basement to ground floor. And I have another central that goes from ground floor to first floor. Now let's take a look on the settings of them. I'm going to build a marquis here, and then use a shortcut, F4, to see the marquis in 3D. And here are both of our central stairs. I'm going to select the top one. And then use the shortcut command T, or Control T, if you're on a PC. And staircases, for me, are just like doors and windows. There are many, many settings. Instead of trying to remember all of them, I prefer to, every time that I need to build a staircase, I go through all of those settings to checking if I need or not to change them. And ArchiCAD does a good job illustrating everything, which makes it easier for us. But I still want to go through some of these settings, starting with geometry and positioning. Notice…
