Surfaces
- [deep voice man] Now let's talk about surfaces. Surfaces can be found under options. Surfaces. Surfaces represent how your elements will look in 3-D or as they would be rendered. So at the top up here we have, all the different available surfaces that you have. They come stocked with ARCHICAD. And so their is a very good array of different surfaces. So, if we select something like, Wood-Siding, we have a surface color. And then we also have the transmittance, which is the transparency. How the surface reacts to light. The color of the surface. The diffusion of the surface. The shininess of the surface. How if this surface actually produces light. And if it has a specific color that it uses to produce the light. Surfaces also have a Vectorial Hatch associated with it. And since we selected Wood-Siding, it's giving us this option here. And then we can also have, a texture that's associated with that surface.…
