Importing properties from Excel

- [Instructor] ArchiCAD has a great way for you to add a large number of properties into elements using an Excel spreadsheet. This is very useful when you need a consultant, a manufacturer, or a contractor to feed you back information that you can add to the model. Let's see how that works in practice. Let's simulate a scenario where I need to get a quote for all the doors on this project. I have set up here a list of all the doors with the basic information that I need to give the manufacturer, and then, to send that, I go to File, Interoperability, Classification and Properties, Export Property Values from Schedule. ArchiCAD is going to ask me what is the name of the list. I'm going to list all properties values. I'm going to save it here on my desktop as an Excel workbook, and here just confirming what is the list I want to export. I'm going to go ahead and hit Save.
