- [Narrator] So one of the most important things while you're learning a new application is that it's either familiar to you or you are comfortable with the layout or you can start to understand kind of the logic of how things are laid out. So one thing I recommend is experiment with the layout itself, and don't get too comfortable necessarily with how it comes out of the box and feel free to customize it the way that you want. So what I do every time I get a new version of Archicad, I do this first. I go over here and make this all lay to the side. I try to get rid of these things on top 'cause I don't necessarily use those all the time and I try to make my work space as big as possible. So now I just have the info box on the top and I can kind of see things on the side that I want to see. And sometimes I'll make that even smaller, and I don't get too hung up on trying to work within the confines that Archicad provides.…
