- [Instructor] The column tool has changed a little bit in ARCHICAD 23. Click on this little arrow here and open up your favorites. If you predefine some favorites, you'll find them here. But we don't have any predefined. So let's just double click into the column settings. What we're going to do is we're going to make it a five and a half-inch, by five and a half-inch column. We do want it to be from the first story to the second story. That makes sense. We could also adjust the angle of the column. We can also adjust the ends. So if the end of the column was 45 degrees or something of that nature, you can see up here that it's adjusted the tip of that column. You can also do that for the base. And then we can also adjust where we place it. This little diagram here shows that when we place the column it's going to be at the center. And we'll go over that a little bit more as we place this column. And then…
