Join Thiago Mundim for an in-depth discussion in this video BIM Server library, part of ArchiCAD: Management & Collaboration.
- [Voiceover] Talk a little bit about libraries…and libraries in the BIM server.…So if we go here to File, Libraries and Objects,…and then Library Manager, you will notice that we have…our embedded library and the ArchiCAD Library 20.…Remember that the embedded library…have files that only belongs to this project.…So if I go to the BIM server manager…and then go in the libraries, you see that…I only have the ArchiCAD Library 20 here.…So if I want to add a new object to our embedded library…on this Teamwork project, I can simply drag and drop it…to the project or I can go to the Embedded Library…and then go to the Add New File to this.…
So I'm gonna go to the Desktop, and add this object…that I have just downloaded.…So now we have this object available in the library,…I'm gonna press OK, and if I go to the object,…then Embedded Library, I have the newer object here…that I can use in my project.…And then if I send and receive,…the other users on this project will receive the chair.…I also recommend you to have an office library folder.…
