- [Voiceover] Let's open a new ArchiCAD file by going into, File, New and then New, I will keep the ArchiCAD 20 template and then press New. So now let's take a quick look on the ArchiCAD interface. So here at the top we have some standard tools like undo and redo, and we have the eyedropper to pick up parameters of one object and the injection to inject in another. And then here we find some other useful tools like the guidelines, which is bascially a line that you can drag from this icon here, place on the drawing, that helps you snapping and orienting your model. You can switch it on and off here or you can just click on it and drag it back to the trash can here on the side. Next we have some snap guides here, you'll notice as you model, that if you keep the mouse stopped in one point for a certain time, ArchiCAD will draw this blue circle around them or if you keep it in a line, ArchiCAD will also draw a blue line on it.
