Join Aaron Quigley for an in-depth discussion in this video Using the exercise files, part of Google Apps for Students.
Throughout this course I'll reference several files, Word documents, and even a few cheat sheets. If you're a premium member of lynda.com, then you have access to these files in the Exercise Files. If you do have access to the Exercise Files, I highly recommend downloading them and placing them on your desktop. I will always refer to the Exercise Files as being located on your desktop. Inside the Exercises Files folder, you'll find sub folders for each chapter that contains files. Each chapter folder then contains the items that I'll reference throughout the course. If you don't have access to the Exercise Files, I highly recommend that you follow along anyways and even if you're uploading a file, just for the sake of uploading the file, going through that kinestetic motion will really help you remember and learn the tricks and tips you'll learn in this course.
