- Before starting this course, I want to let you know what you should know coming in. This course is designed for programmers, so coming into the course you should have a basic familiarity with Xcode and with iOS development. Now you don't have to be the best developer in the world, but if you haven't used Xcode before, you might be a little bit confused as I navigate through the interface. So if you feel stuck there, then be sure to look at our Xcode courses in the library. You should also have some Swift experience. If you're completely new to Swift, but you've done Objective-C, then Swift might be easy for you.
If you don't have any Swift experience, you might still be able to get through the course if you have some general programming knowledge. The app that we're going to build is relatively simple and we'll use concepts that are familiar in just about every other programming language. So if you feel comfortable with Xcode, iOS, and Swift, then let's go forward with the course.
