New features in Photos for macOS High Sierra are the output extensions. Now you can use third-party services to create books and other printed materials. In this video, Derrick shows how to access output extensions from within Photos for macOS.
- [Instructor] A new wrinkle in Photos…for Mac OS High Sierra…is that we have project extensions now, too.…So, not only do we have the slideshow, the calendar stuff…that comes in Photos,…which is actually quite good,…if we come over here to My Projects,…and we click on plus,…and we go down to the bottom of this pop-up here,…we get More, and more is exactly what we get.…It takes us over to the App Store to this specific area…where we have project extensions.…There are six in here at the time of this recording.…
I anticipate that this area is going to grow,…and we will have many project extensions to choose from,…but there are some names in here that we recognize,…Shutterfly Photo Books and so forth.…So, if you're a fan of any of these services…and you want them now to be directly connected…to Photos for Mac OS, you can do that,…and I think it's a lovely addition…to what was already a strong suit in this application.…So, anyway, the way that you get to this,…you just have to remember, is just go to My Projects,…
