How machine learning helps image presentation
- [Instructor] One of the most visually compelling examples of how Apple uses machine learning in Photos for Mac OS Catalina is in the days view, and we're looking at that right now. This view right here of the images that I have in the library, and I have 38 up until this point, and this view would change as I continue to add more images. When I add pictures, Apple curates them, the application curates them, and then uses machine learning to continue to update and build this view. But according to machine learning, these are my most interesting shots from any particular time, for any particular day. So for example, if we go to the all photos view, we get to see what we normally see when we look at a bunch of images, which is they're all the same size, we have the thumbnails, we see the entire shot.
