Fine-tune color with the White Balance panel

Let's take a look at white balance, because that's another tool that we have to help us manage color. And it's a little bit more traditional than some of the tools we'd been working with earlier, but it still has it's place and it can be quite helpful. So imma go ahead and hit the "return" key to put us in edit mode, and here's white balance and we have different modes in white balance. We have skin tone, neutral gray, and tint. Okay, let's just start with skin tone and see what happens here. The idea is that we go to skin tone mode, then we click on the dropper, right, then we actually sample an area of the skin. So we do that right there. Now, it warms it up considerably, and depending on how your monitor is, you know all monitors are a little bit different, I have two monitors here that I'm looking at, and one is quite warm and one is just a little warm. Let's turn it on and off so you can see the difference. So…
