Back up a Photos library
- [Instructor] Technically speaking, if you're using iCloud to back up your Photos library, you really shouldn't have to do anything else, because iCloud is doing it for you. However, if you want another layer of protection, you can back up your Photos library to an external hard drive every quarter or every month at most. You don't have to do, I don't think, any more than that, 'cause iCloud is doing a lot of that heavy lifting for you. And if you want to do that, well, let's just take a look and let's see how that would work. I'll go ahead and minimize my Photos library right here. And here it is in my Pictures folder, right there. And this container has everything in it. It has your masters in it, it has your work in it, your key wording, your edits, the whole kit and kaboodle is inside this container here, which makes backup easy, right, 'cause you just have to back up one thing. You don't have to go searching all over…
