Existing location data can be changed, or new data can be added to images without geotags. In this video, Derrick shows you how to change location data for geotagged images or add this information to pictures that don't have it, using Photos for macOS High Sierra.
- [Instructor] Since we're having so much fun with these…red lanters, let's go ahead and…add some location data too, right?…We could probably guess, but let's have it in there okay.…So I'm going to go ahead select the first one.…We're going to do it to all of them at once…because again efficiency is the name of the game here.…Hold down the shift key, go to the last one.…Five photos selected.…Click on the eye key.…And now we're going to come down here to assign a location.…And all I have to do is start typing.…Now you do need to be connected…to the internet for this to work.…
China and look at that,…my first hit Chinatown, San Francisco.…And then we have some other places here.…But it got it right the first time.…So all I have to do is click on that.…Look at that.…Boom!…Just like that now they are geotagged.…And if we export out of here that information…will travel with it, if you allow it to.…You have the option to hide it if you wish.…So let's go ahead and close this right now.…Now we did five at once so let's go eeny, meeny, miny, moe,…
