Using the exercise files

This course comes with a set of exercise files for those of you who have access to them. However, my advice to you is to follow along using your photos. I think you'll appreciate Aperture 3's features more if you see actual improvements in your own work. If you do use the Exercise Files, they are located in this folder, which I have put on my Desktop. You can place the folder anywhere you wish. Now Aperture 3 organizes files into libraries and projects. So you don't actually open a single image. You open a library.

In this course, the Exercise File overlays will show you which library to open. Within it, you will find the relevant photos. This being the case, sometimes your screen will not exactly mirror the one that you see on the lesson, but rest assured that you'll have all the images you need. We are also including a separately downloadable copy of these materials as they are in their final state at the end of the course. So you'll have the beginning stuff and then you'll have the stuff that you see at the end of the course.

But enough about Exercise Files. Let's get started.
