- [Instructor] To really maximize the benefits of this course and this subject, some previous experience with JMeter is essential. If you don't have any, don't worry, I have a course in the LinkedIn library that will allow you to get started with zero prior experience in JMeter. You'll also need some basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, web authentication, and how REST APIs work in a broad sense, some knowledge of cloud computing, such as Amazon Web Services, and the command-line interface is also beneficial but not essential, as we'll be going through things step-by-step in this course.
