Hand gestures
- So we've been looking at a lot of gestures, specifically, hand gestures, happen a lot. So, how do you change them up, how do you create interesting versions of a hand gesture, especially, with cliche-type gestures. Let's talk about, say, the point gesture, we see the point all the time, how do we change it up so that it's different, we know that we're gonna do it, let's take a look at a bunch of video clips, where we're watching the actors do that very gesture, differently, every time. OK, you can see he points, and then he goes from point into a fist down to the side, really interesting, he leaves it out there for a while. We all know this gesture, this one is almost so popular that it has become a cliche, right, it's not necessarily a point, but it's a point with a little pinky on it. This one is just a punctuation, comes up from below camera, to just kind of add on to what he's saying. I love this one, because it actually happens right in front of the character's face, normally…
