- All right. One of the challenges that I would love if you would try is to film yourself telling a story without gestures and with gestures. Take a camera. Set up your Iphone, or your tripod. Shoot yourself telling a story with your hands to your side or under your legs with no gestures. Try to restrain how much you do and see what you're doing. Then I want you to try the same thing where you're able to use as many gestures as you want. We did the same thing with our actors and I want to take a look and let's really see what they're doing when they're telling a story with no gestures. All right. One of the things that you'll notice when you're watching someone tell a story without gestures is that, well, it's kind of boring. But for the actor it's difficult for them to tell the story. They really can't embellish it. It's a hard story to be told especially with the sound off. You really don't know what's going on. All right. Let's take a look at the actor where he is gesturing.
