Animating changes of expression

As you get comfortable with creating facial expressions, the next step is to animate between those, and to animate a change of expression for your character. We're going to do a simple change of expression, and we're going to go from happy to sad. So I've got a neutral character on the screen, and let's just go ahead and scroll to frame one and get started. I'm going to start by, actually just dialing in a happy face. So, I'm going to select my mouth here. Let's just go ahead and get, a simple mouth pose. I'm not going to get too complex on this. I just want to show you some of the process here. And so, now once we have a happy face, I need to dial in my second expression. Now the first question is, how long does this take? Well, that will be seen dependant. I'm going to do this over the course of one second which is 24 frames. I'm going to scroll forward to frame 25 on this timeline. And let's just go ahead and make her sad.
