What you should know before taking this course
- [Instructor] While you don't nescessarily need to know any advanced programming skills to begin working with Angular, it is helpful to have a basic background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript. In this course we'll be using Angular 4 with TypeScript. Typescript is a super set of JavaScript. So if you haven't use TypeScript before, but are familiar with JavaScript, you should be fine. For more specifics on basic usage of Angular using TypeScript have a look at Learning Angular JS 2 with Ray Villalobos. It may also be beneficial to have a look at my course, Build Custom HTML5 Video Playback with Angular 2. Once familiar with using Angular 2 and above with TypeScript you should be ready to go.
