What you should know before watching

- [Instructor] Coming into this course, you should know a couple of things. Of course, I don't expect you to know programming at all, but you should be familiar with how to use your computer's operating system, whether that's Windows or macOS. By that, what I mean is, you should be able to navigate to files and folders. You should be able to also download files and install them on your computer. We're going to be doing a little bit of that in this course, and it helps if you have a familiarity with your operating system. The only other requirement is that you know how to work with text. We're going to be doing things like copying, pasting, and selecting text, so if you don't have any experience doing that, it might be a little bit too fast for you. But if you have worked with text at all before, you should be good to go through this course. And for those of you who don't feel comfortable working with text, I am going to tell you the keyboard shortcuts for things like copying and pasting and any other ones that I use throughout the course. So if you see this list and you feel comfortable, you're ready to start programming.
