- [Lecturer] Hi I'm Todd Perkins, welcome to this course for non-programmers on developing apps for Android using Kotlin. Are you interested in going into a programming profession but don't know if you can do it or whether you'll enjoy it? This course is for you. Have you ever wondered if you could make a Android app but didn't know where to start? This course is for you too. This course is designed to show you that you or anybody can learn to code Android apps. We'll start with the basics discussing how programming works in general. For there we'll go into the building blocks of programming, variables, methods, and control flow. Everything in this course is taught with one goal in mind, to make a calculator application. Every concept in this course is taught in the context of that goal so as you're learning programming you'll see how every concept applies to a real world application that you'll eventually create.
