- Sometimes we hear or receive information that has too much detail for a list. This is where a note comes in. Notes can consist of text, drawings, photos and more and come from many different data sources such as information captured from audio sources, pulled from different data sources or thoughts captured as text or drawings. The best way to capture, store and retrieve notes depends on what type of note it is and how you need to use it. There are a number of storage options. Let's talk about a few of them and what type of notes are best for each. Calender notes. Many times the notes we need to save correspond to an event in our calender. Save the information about specific events within your calender entry itself. For example, if you need to remember to bring a pie to the bake sale, enter that information in the notes field of your calender event. Make it a part of your routine to read your calender notes each week and you will have all the information you need in the right spot…
