Track high score: Building a Game App with the Android SDK

Every game player likes to know when they’ve done well, so I’ll add logic to track their score. High scores should be stored persistently - if you want to store that sort of information in the cloud, you can integrate your game with Google Play Games Services. That sort of integration really needs its own course though, because there are quite a few steps involved. For this course, I’ll only show how I’m storing the high score persistently on the user’s device.
