Manage Gradle build scripts
- Android Studio build files are named bill.gradle. In the Android project view, they're grouped together for us nicely. Each project has one top-level build file for the entire project and separate module level build files for each module. When you first create a project, Android Studio automatically generates the necessary build files. Let's open up the top-level build file. And we'll temporarily close the project window. This file contains two important dependencies. The Android Gradle plugin and the Kotlin Gradle plugin. Whenever you upgrade Android Studio, make sure you also upgrade the Kotlin Gradle plugin version number, especially if a new version is released with the IDE. This file also contains a list of repositories that Gradle should use when looking for dependencies for the rest of your modules. Now let's go take a look at the module-level build.gradle file.
