- [Instructor] There are two more steps before we can upload an app package and publish an app to the Google Play Store. On the dashboard, at the bottom of the first step section in initial setup, we need to start by selecting an app category and providing contact details. We already said this is an app when we started the store listing, but if you want to change it to a game, you can do it here. Next, select the category. The sample app for this course is a demo app, so I will select Libraries and Demo. Google has a nice little support article with some good examples that might help you pick a category for your application. Check it out at support.google.com under Select a category and tags for your app or game. Back to the console. Click Manage tags.
