Create icons in Android Studio
- [Instructor] Android uses icons as symbols that represent common actions and items. You can create them directly inside of Android Studio. Let's open up the Asset Studio tool and create some icons. You can access that by going to File, New and we're going to choose Image Asset. The first thing we're going to do is create an icon based on clipart provided from Material Design team. We're going to change our icon type to Action Bar and Tab Icons. And then we'll click on this little clipart image of the Android. A new window is going to appear that allows us to see all of the available images. We can filter the results displayed. For example, maybe we only want to show outlined images, or we want to show sharp images. We can also change the category of images displayed from action to communication or device. And you can search for images directly by name. As an example, let's search for storefront, and then I will change…
