- [Instructor] This course was built with Android Studio version 3.4. When the course was first recorded, I was using Beta 2 of the product and since then, Beta 3 came out. This will be a great opportunity to show you what will happen when you check out the exercise files for this course from GitHub. In order to work with the project, you'll need to have installed git on your computer. If you don't already have it, you can download the software from git-scm.com. Just choose the version that you need for your operating system and follow their directions to install the software. Then, go to the repository for this course on GitHub. It's at my account at AndroidDev2019UI. On the main screen, click the Clone or download button and then click this copy button to copy the URL to the clipboard. Back in Android Studio, click Check out project from Version Control, then choose Git, and paste the URL into place. You can name the local directory anything you want and if you want to match what…
