- [Instructor] Having become familiar with the application through static analysis, we can now run the application and use dynamic analysis techniques to check for operational issues. Some mobile applications connect to web services and are therefore subject to web vulnerabilities. We won't be covering the topic of web testing for mobile applications, because the testing is the same whether the end device is a mobile or desktop. And the testing techniques are covered fully in the web testing course. The mobile application may connect to external servers, not only using http or https, but possibly with other protocols. Once again, we won't do network traffic monitoring in this course, because we cover it in detail for all InPointe devices in the wireless testing course.
