The editor window is where programmers spend most of the their time. It's essentially an advanced text editor that's optimized for typing, moving and deleting software code. There are many advanced features to help speed up your coding, most of which are available from menu items or keyboard shortcuts. You can also display more than one version of a single file by splitting the editor horizontally or vertically, and you can control whether features such as line numbers and method separators appear.
