Using the Request Wizard

The first thing we'll need to do in the Report Builder, is create a data request, which is how we tell Report Builder exactly what data we want to suck into Excel and where to put it. The good news here is that there's an easy to use wizard that pops up when we click on the Create button in our Report Builder toolbar. The first thing you'll see is a drop down that should be pretty familiar to you. This is where you're going to choose the report suite that you want to pull your data from. It's worth noting that if you click on the range selector, you can take advantage of dynamic cell references to define the report suite to pull the data from. This can be really useful when you want to make the same data requests across multiple report suites. Rather than creating new data requests, you can just control the source of data in the cell you define here.
