The last set of reports we're going to look at in this chapter, is the Real Time reports. In most of the scenarios we've been looking at in this course, we're interested in doing analysis on a fairly substantial time period. And the fact that it may take a few hours for Adobe to do all that processing of the data, before it makes it into our reports. Isn't really an issue at all. But, what if you're a content publisher. Putting up new content all day, every day? You would want to understand which articles are getting a lot of traction and promote them very quickly. While you de-emphasize the less sticky or less popular ones. Waiting hours, or until the next day, to make these decisions, could cost you a lot of money, in ad-serving revenue, for example. So, real-time data becomes crucial. Or maybe you just landed a guest appearance on a popular television show and you want to see the online reaction to it's airing.
