If you remember back to the second chapter where we discussed eVars and s.props, then you may have a pretty good idea of what you can find in the custom conversion and custom traffic reports. If you remember, a conversion variable, or an eVar, is often used to give additional context to a conversion event. Let's take a look at the example of an e-commerce order. I might want to know more context about those orders, like what payment methods are being used most frequently. And assuming my implementation team has included an eVar for this and it's been set up and configured correctly, you would be able to go into the custom conversion report and find a payment methods report to look at how order and revenue metrics break down across the different values of this conversion variable. In short, I could use this to understand which payment gateways I want to continue to offer and pay for and look at which ones my visitors aren't using.
