- [Instructor] One of the things that you've no doubt observed throughout this course is that migration planning involves a lot of work, so once you've gone through the entire planning process, it's very tempting to jump in to the migration with both feet and just get the job done. But even so, it's extremely important to periodically reassess your migration goals throughout the migration project. There are a number of different reasons why this is the case. One of the reasons why I recommend periodically revisiting your migration goals is because doing so can help to prevent you from getting caught up in migration sprawl. Occasionally, I've seen situations in the real world in which an organization migrates an application or too and then after doing so, they kind of get caught up in the excitement and end up migrating things that were never intended to be migrated in the first place.
