Who is an AWS Solutions Architect?
- [Voiceover] So let's drill into the Solutions Architect. Course, there are two, there's the Associate and the Professional. So, starting kind of with the Associate, but sort of generally around the Solutions Architect. Who, by definition of Amazon, is a Solutions Architect? It's a person with one or more years of hands-on experience designing available, cost-efficient, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed systems on AWS. It's someone who has the ability to identify and define requirements for AWS-based applications, and a person who has the capability to provide best practices for building secure and reliable applications on the AWS platform. If that sounds intimidating, it is a little bit. I'm often asked, because I am Cloud Architect, "What is the path to becoming a Cloud Architect on platform A, B, or C?" Amazon, Azure, GCP, and, really, there's no substitute for experience. So, that is probably the most daunting aspect of preparing for this exam in particular. Because this…
