What you should know
- [Instructor] What am I expecting that you know in regards to security operations is some knowledge of the Cloud, some basic idea of the Cloud as an entity that's outside of your own data centers. I also expect that you have a knowledge of network security fundamentals, knowledge of user accounts, passwords, what users do, the types of network security that you do on prem, and potentially some knowledge, but not necessary, of what Amazon does in the Cloud in regards to offering security services. I'm expecting that you're an administrator, a developer, a security officer, or maybe you're managing an entire project, trying to move your company into the AWS Cloud. If you fit into these areas, you'll be just fine with this class.
