What should you know
- Before we get started, there are a few things that you should know. Throughout this course, we're going to be using different AWS services. Which, then we are going to monitor using Amazon CloudWatch. First, we're going to use Lambda functions and Lambda applications in order to have applications running on our environment that generate logs for us to monitor. If you are not familiar, I suggest you watch the course Building Serverless Apps on AWS before continuing with the course, which will help you make the most out of it. We are also going to make use of Amazon EC2 instances and Alto scaling groups for our metrics and alarms. You can check out the course, Amazon EC2 Fundamentals before continuing in order to get all the most of the demos in this course.
