A response card can give the user various options but still allow for the waiting of a response outside of that—for example, no button is pressed but text is entered—or it can simply wait for the response without the card.
- [Instructor] So for our response settings right now, … we just have some text messages, … including our food slot value. … We also have a response card … that allows the user to simply tap or click a button … instead of typing in additional text. … For example, … the yes button says feed me for ordering more food, … the I want Dessert button … is as if the user typed I want dessert, … which will kick off the order dessert intent, … and then we have a button called No, thanks, … which will be as if the user typed no. … While our bot understands feed me, … that's an utterance for order food. … And it understands I want dessert, … that's an utterance for order dessert, … but it doesn't understand what no means. … We could have any number of buttons … that type in any number of things, … but our bot only understands a handful of things. … Well there's a special little check box down here … to teach your both how to understand what no means. … So you simply just check this box, … and that way if the user types no, …
