- As we begin the validation of our migrated data, I want to also expose you to a couple of other things. First of all, you might remember elsewhere in this course, we saw that you can connect to an AWS RDS MySQL database using the MySQL workbench. Well, you can do the exact same thing with a SQL Server database. You can use the SQL Server Management Studio. For that matter, SQL Server Integration Services and other SQL Server admin tools to administer your AWS RDS SQL Server instance. And so you don't have to learn new tools necessarily when it comes to your DBA role. You just have to figure out how to get the instance running in the cloud. So let's take a look at SQL Server Management Studio that I have actually connected to both my local install of SQL Server and the AWS RDS install of SQL Server.
