Trusted Advisor for fault tolerance
- In this section, we're going to look at advanced tools. And we're going to start by looking at advanced Amazon tools and often overlooked tools, frankly. So we'll start with something called Trusted Advisor. So if you navigate in the console to the Trusted Advisor Service, you'll see that there are several different capabilities here. We have Cost Optimization, which is a kind of elasticity, Performance, Security, and Fault Tolerance. And I'm just going to go over Fault Tolerance to give you a flavor of how this works. Now, in order to work with the full resources of Trusted Advisor, you cannot test this out on a starter account. You have to be at a level of support that is enterprise level, so notice here it says upgrade your Support plan to unlock all of Trusted Advisor recommendations.
