- [Instructor] Replicating a virtual machine to AWS involves deploying the Server Migration Service connector in a virtual machine, and then logging into the AWS Server Migration Service as you've seen in some of the previous videos. When you do that, you should be taken to a dashboard screen that allows you to see the connector and then create a replication job. But every once in a while, you may find that things don't go quite the way that you would expect. For example, I've currently got a VMware connector running, and yet when I log into the AWS Server Migration Service, I'm taken to this screen rather than being taken to the dashboard screen. So what do you do in this type of situation? Well, there are a couple of things that I recommend doing. First, if you arrive at the screen unexpectedly, go ahead and click the Get Started button.
