Starting a new Alexa skill
- [Instructor] To get started, go to developer.amazon.com and login with your Amazon Developer account. I've done so and now I'm looking at the Amazon Developer splash screen, which shows me all the different ways that I can develop skills and apps with Amazon. You can see the Amazon AppStore which has to do with Android applications, Fire TV, Fire Tablet, and platforms like that. The AWS Developer Center and Dash Services. We want to go into Alexa, but if you click here you're going to get developer documentation. Instead we want to go up to the toolbar here and click Developer Console. Scroll down a little bit on this page and you'll see the Amazon Alexa section. We have two options, Alexa Skills Kit, or ASK, or the Alexa Voice Service. The Alexa Skills Kit is where we want to go.
