Simple Notification Services
- [Narrator] When problems occur at Amazon with particular services, you'd like to be notified with those problems. And the engine that is the communication engine that provides the communication of problems or solutions, or just simple notifications is the simple notification service. What it does is deliver messages from applications or AWS services, to subscribing endpoints, or clients. Now, we're all used to push notifications, If you install any application on your phone, you'll typically be asked if the application can enable notifications, they could be very well using this notification service. The use cases for SNS are: application monitoring, mobile applications and devices. Now, the messages that are sent by the notification service could also be sent to a queue, alerting the subscribers to the queue that there's something to do.
