With the pieces in place we need to use CodeStar to put it all together. Using CodeStar, we can manage the process end to end. Beyond just setting up the project and process, CodeStar can manage the maintenance and update process. Through continuous integration of our code, we can keep the process smooth with CodeStar.
- [Instructor] So back in CodeStar,…where we created our project earlier,…we see that we have a variety of panes…that they built in for us on the dashboard.…We have our Welcome pane that has some…information about learning how to use CodeStar,…setting up your team…and configuring issue tracking.…We also have a Wiki, our environments,…including our endpoints,…our Continuous Development pane that puts…it all together for when we commit code.…We can also see the commit history and so forth.…Over on the left we can also see settings…for our IDE, if we tap on Code,…it's going to open up the Code Commit,…Code Build, Code Deploy, and our pipeline.…
We can also manage our team from here…and different extensions.…For example, you could use JIRA…for issue tracking.…Under the Project tab we can see other things…that were created for us and the ability…to connect tools.…Here's a lot of things that CodeStar did for us.…An API Gateway, Cloud9, Cloud Formation,…and so on.…Look at all the security stuff it did for us in IAM.…There's also tags at the bottom,…
