- [Instructor] So, in this next scenario,…we're going to look at an internal business…application and we're going to consider scalability.…So, for compute, this is similar…to the one that we had the previous movie.…We're using EC2, so we have the…same scalability considerations.…EC2 instance configuration.…Not only the size but also the type.…I see lots of customers not using,…for example, memory optimized…for memory-intensive workloads,…and this can impact performance…and scalability pretty substantially.…We are concerned with load balancer…and auto scaler configurations…and VPC settings, here, all the various VPC settings.…
For files, it depends on where…our consumers are or our internal users,…if we have a central business unit…or if we're distributed across…several geographic locations in the world.…If we're distributed, we might use…cross region bucket replication for key buckets…so that we have lower latency…on the information that's changed in the buckets.…We may choose to use VPC endpoints…for a higher level of security…
