Within Amazon Web Services (AWS) System Manager you have the ability to execute commands remotely using the SystemManager Run command to your EC2 instances. This service can also be used with on premise servers; this video covers the EC2 instances only. Learn the steps required to execute PowerShell commands like Get-Service on your EC2 instances. See how to assign the correct privilege to an IAM (Identity Access Management) account, to connect to the SSM Agent (Systems Manager Agent) on the Windows EC2 instance and execute a remote command from the EC2 console. Then view the output from that command.
