Remediating resources

- [Instructor] AWS Config allows you to remediate noncompliant resources that are evaluated by Config rules. AWS provided a pre-populated list of remediation actions or we can create custom remediation actions as well. Back to the Config rule that we created earlier we see that there is one noncompliant resource. Let's look at the steps involved in remediating this resource. I'll start by clicking on the rule name. When configuring remediation we turned off auto remediation. To manually remediate I'll scroll to the bottom, select the resource that is noncompliant and then click the remediate button. Let's got to the EC2 console and see the changes. I'll use the services dropdown and click EC2 from the history of services. I'll click on instances. And now we can see that the EC2 instance with the size t2 nano has been stopped. I'll use the refresh button. I refreshed it a few times and now I can see that the instance…
