With your app ready to connect to AWS, you need to set it up to connect to Lex specifically. Amplify is a great tool and can be used but in this case, do it directly. You need to add the UI needs to start the process as well as configure the Lex needs. That includes the bot name and alias to point to.
- [Instructor] Alright, we're getting closer … to being able to chat with our bot. … So we've set up everything … as far as authentication goes on AWS. … Now we need to start setting up our app. … So I'm going to do mine in Xcode, … but if you're going to do yours in another platform … like Android, or React Native, or something … you can go to the Amplify documentation. … So at awsamplifygithub.io/docs … you can go to the get started, … look at the documentation there, … and then you can build your app for these various platforms. … So we'll look at this React Native one. … You scroll down and over here you see interactions, … and this should be for Lex, … and you can look through and it'll give you directions … on how to build, and everything. … For the documentation for ios and Android, … it's kind of interesting. … I don't think you can really find it. … If you come over to ios here, there isn't interactions. … But if you just go up and replace this js … with ios, boom, there it is. …
