Performing a cold failover

- [Instructor] In the previous video, we created a clone of a web server, and then we took the original web server offline to simulate a failure. But even though we've created a clone of our web server, our cold failover isn't quite complete. If I switch over to a web browser, and I do a refresh, you can see that the browser still wasn't able to find the website that's hosted by the web server, and the reason for that is that our DNS settings are still directing internet traffic to our old web server, which is currently offline. So in order to fix this problem, we need to update the DNS records. So let me go ahead and switch back over to the console, and what I'm going to do is to go out to AWS, and then from the list of services, I'm going to go to Route 53.
